Heights Church - Prescott

Updated again: we continue to go here as the kid ministry is amazing. We have tried to get plugged into the small groups and still haven’t heard back but their Christmas Eve service was amazing thank you! Update: As a large family it can be difficult to get plugged into a church. We signed up multiple times to their small groups, but not once got called to attend. Was disappointed as the only way to connect to a church this big is to get connected into the community through a small group. We are now church shopping again. Down rates from 5 to 3 stars. Original Review: What a church! Two of our neighbors recommended it in a weeks time so we knew it was time to try it out! The Heights Church did not disappoint! Beautiful grounds, above average worship, childcare was phenomenal, we have a lot of kids and they took care of each one wonderfully!

It amazes me to see the grumpy comments. If you’re looking for fire and brimstone. You are right, this is NOT the church for you. This is a church offering The Lords Love, Kindness, and Grace. True believers who won’t beat you up with the Bible. They Will preach Gods Truth! But Allow you Your journey with God. At your pace, in your time. They won’t cast the first stone. They definitely take the plank out of their eye before they take the spec out of your. They Humbly walk with the Lord.

Positive people who love & serve God & His people in ways to help faith grow. There is music by the folks who like singing praises To God. There are several places in this church to serve our youth. A grocery bank for folks who need food. A children's back to school supplies room for expenses with free school supplies. Strong addiction recovery Bible Studies for men & women. More that I have not learned about yet.

Nice campus and lots of offerings. My family went here for several months; not many truly friendly and God filled people here, most of the praise & worship was melancholy, repetitive, and always in the dark, my teens did not care for the youth group or its leader, the congregation is constantly asked to sign up and join a small home group but when we did (twice) we were never contacted. We did not care for the very casual and laid back pastor or his generic 'Christianity 101' approach, and the very clicky congregation members, so after nearly 6 months we decided as a family to stop attending.
